Austin, TX — On Monday, April 14, the Texas House Homeland Security, Public Safety & Veterans’ Affairs Committee will hear over a dozen gun bills that could have devastating consequences for Texas communities. Survivors and advocates will share personal stories and issue a call to action to protect public safety.

“These bills threaten to dismantle the life-saving measures that keep our communities safe,” said Nicole Golden, Executive Director of Texas Gun Sense. “Texas lawmakers must reject these dangerous proposals and prioritize the safety of our families, schools, and public spaces.
