The Community Safety Committee adjourned on Thursday without voting on HB 2744, a bill that would raise the minimum age to purchase a semi-automatic rifle from 18 to 21. Once again, the Legislature has failed to take action to prevent gun violence in our schools and communities.

Organizations from the Coalition to Prevent Gun Violence, survivors, and leaders will speak to the press and be available for questions.
