The Legislative Session Is Ending Without Action To Prevent Gun Violence.

Join Texas Gun Sense, advocates, survivors, and elected officials for a press event on Tuesday highlighting the Legislature’s failure to act to prevent gun violence.

On Tuesday, May 23rd, advocates and elected officials will convene on the day before the one-year anniversary of Uvalde to point to the Legislature’s inaction to prevent the next shooting through measures such as HB 2744 to raise the age to 21 to purchase semi-automatic rifles, supported by 76% of Texas voters.
