Not Giving Up In Texas

November 7, 2024

The election results are devastating for so many of us, because we know what’s at stake — the national progress on gun safety that advocates and survivors across the country have built is at serious risk.

You can help us channel this urgency into action, so that together, we can face the road ahead and fight for the safety of all Texans.

In Texas, we’re accustomed to encountering resistance to common sense gun laws. But now, we’re facing a bigger challenge. We’re up against a system that believes firearm violence is an acceptable price to pay for living in America. We need you to stand up to say that it is NOT acceptablePlease give today to fuel our work in fighting back against rollbacks to gun safety

Since the results were announced, I’ve been in touch with our coalition of advocates and survivors here in Texas, including students, parents from Uvalde, mental health advocates, faith organizers, and pediatricians. We mourn the loss of national progress on gun violence prevention.

But like you, we are unwavering in our dedication to continuing the fight in our state. And we need your support.

Stand with us. Thank you for being part of the movement to save lives.

In solidarity,

Nicole Golden
