We are excited to announce the release of the Texas Gun Sense Legislative Vote Tracker, a first-of-its-kind tool to help you stay informed on how Texas lawmakers vote on firearm legislation.
In Texas, where the majority of residents support common-sense gun laws, it’s vital that we hold lawmakers accountable for their votes. Our Vote Tracker provides a clear, accessible record of lawmakers’ stances on key gun-related bills—whether they’re protecting our communities or putting lives at risk.

★ A historical record of key legislative actions on gun safety
★ Transparent scores based on pro-gun safety votes
If your lawmakers failed to support gun safety, now is the time to hold them accountable. If they did, let them know you appreciate their leadership.
When you click on our scorecard, you can use the search function to find your representatives. Then, use our Take Action button to email your representatives and demand stronger gun laws that protect our families and communities.
Not finding your lawmaker? New lawmakers will not appear on our tracker if they have not completed a full legislative session. You can still reach out to them using our Take Action link and let them know that gun safety is important to you.
